The beginning of dental implants
C-Tech Implants’ origins date back to the 1960s, when the company began manufacturing orthopedic implants and other steel and titanium components for industries such as precision mechanics, medical devices and the aerospace industry. In 1965, approached by some professors – today recognized as the fathers of Italian dental implants – the company developed one of the first dental implants used in Italy. Since then, and for over 30 years, it has designed and supplied implant components to some of the largest European implant companies. This has allowed the company to study, prototype, produce and certify a wide range of implants in dozens of countries worldwide, significantly broadening its know-how and insight into the implant market. Experience with a large number of systems has also allowed the company to develop extensive expertise in the design aspects that most contribute to the surgical and prosthetic success of an implant.
The C-Tech Implant brand
Based on this experience, the parent company founded C-Tech Implant in 2008 and began selling implants and components for dental implants under this brand. The company started mainly for its own needs, but also continued to design and manufacture orthopedic implants, dental implants and medical devices for other internationally renowned brands. C-Tech Implant has thus acquired a complete and reliable picture of the market, based on the most effective and popular implant solutions requested by doctors. By using the best technology and the most advanced materials, they offer dental practices unique, original solutions, also developed in collaboration with surgeons from some of the most prominent European universities. C-Tech Implant stands out not only for the attention it pays to the research and development of implants and dental components, but also for their ease of insertion and use.
